Circular Economy -GRM, Alternative material development
- At present, TRLK procures 18.8 % used refractory material from various suppliers to reduce mining activities and thereby lower carbon emissions. The company has set an ambitious target of achieving 25% used refractory material in its product mix by 2030.
- TRLK has developed new GRM products through market research and Use of Spent Refractory.
- During FY 2025-26, approximately 48828 MT of recycled raw materials were utilized across operations, demonstrating a strong commitment to resource efficiency and reducing dependence on virgin raw materials.
- Advanced refractory material formulations, coupled with optimized handling practices and continuous process improvements, enabled higher material yields, minimized waste generation, and enhanced manufacturing efficiency.
- By focusing on waste reduction at the source, the Company conserved valuable natural resources while significantly lowering the environmental footprint associated with its production activities.
